     NAME
page - view FAX, bitmap, and PostScript files

     SYNOPSIS
          page file ...

     DESCRIPTION
Page reads each file, either a CCITT Group 3 encoded file
(such as a FAX page), Plan 9 bitmap file (see bitmap(6)), or
PostScript in sequence and displays it in its window.
Pressing and holding button 1 permits panning about the
page. Typing a q or control-D exits the program. Typing
any other character or clicking button 2 advances to the
next file. Button 3 has a menu of the files to be selected
          for viewing in any order.

When possible, page overlaps the read of the next page with
the display of the current one.

Page calls gs(1) to convert PostScript files to Group 3
encoded files. All are converted before any pages are dis-
played. The menu then displays one line for each page of
          the documents.

     FILES
/lib/nyt/* New York Times FAX files, updated daily.

     DIAGNOSTICS
The mouse cursor changes to an arrow and ellipsis when page
          is reading a file.

     BUGS
Page is written in ALEF and therefore has binaries only for
          MIPS, SPARC, and i386 machines.
If any of the files are PostScript, they all must be.
